Our Stories--Brave Conversations on Race In-Person
Our Stories--Brave Conversations on Race is an interactive discussion on how race and racism affect our lives and what we can do about it. Our skin colors are different. Our life experiences are different. Let's listen to each other's stories, and together build some peace. The conversation will be conducted in a structured and safe environment with two trained facilitators, and we'll discuss such questions as:
- When you were growing up, did you have any friends of a different race?
- What did you learn from your parents about race?
- Tell us about a time you experienced or witnessed racism. How did it make you feel? What was your response?
- What creates prejudice, and how can we overcome it?
You can be part of the solution for a more just and equitable society.
